SENIOR R&D SYSTEM ENGINEER

Reports to: R&D Manager

Job Purpose:

As a member of the R&D group, this position will be involved in IT system development from concept to production and will be primarily responsible for coordinating the work of Front Office and Back Office in a variety of disciplines to produce products that meet requirements. Time will be spent first understanding and distilling requirements to form a system specification. The incumbent will then play a role in product development and make sure the smooth transition from R&D to the production environment.

The incumbent will be routinely called upon to use their excellent IT skills and creativity to find ways to move forward when faced with inevitable development hurdles. Other duties will include helping to define direction for future product offerings based on your solid knowledge of the strengths and limitations of a wide variety of technologies. This position represents a great opportunity for a candidate looking for a wide variety of challenging work experience crossing multiple disciplines of IT security and new technology.

Job Purpose:

Reports to: Sales Manager

Job Purpose:

This candidate will works closely with management to manage the company's brand, public image & marketing strategy, develop strategic plans from implementing marketing plan to determining the annual marketing budget.

This candidate will be responsible for marketing, retention marketing, advertising, marketing analysis, communications, enhancing customer relationships, increasing customer retention, developing forecasts & pricing strategies.

This candidate will be responsible to plan, execute and track the success of marketing operations throughout the entire company.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Support Sales and Business Unit in developing and execution of marketing plan for the company's sales and marketing activities.
  • To coordinate and work closely with key customers in planning and execution of PR, seminars and events.
  • Liaise and coordinate with relevant design agencies on developing marketing collaterals and promotional materials.

Skills/Attributes Required:

  • Experience in Product Marketing, PR, Mass Communications or equivalent.
  • ICT skill(s): Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (will be an advantage).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVE

Reports to: Sales Manager

Job Purpose:

To maintain relationship with existing and new customers in order to generate more sales.
Achieving sales target through proper channel.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Develop new customer database and markets through our database and existing customers
  • Establish and maintain a strong business relationship with customers through the understanding of their requirements and their needs
  • Handle customer enquiries and prepare quotation on timely manner
  • Build and strengthen good rapport with customers/partners
  • Self-driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • To carry out any other functions as and when required by the Management of the company

SOC MANAGER

Reports to: Service and Support Manager

Job Purpose:

The Security Operations Security Center (SOC) Manager is responsible for: the management, planning, and continued development of a Security Operations Center. The candidate will manage the 24x7x365 daily operation by providing employee leadership, security operations, business process improvement, and customer support. The candidate must have past experience in managing technical staff performing security functions such as incident handling and IDS monitoring. The candidate must have a strong leadership background in managing 24x7x365 operations with experience in employee management, data security technologies, incident response, and process improvement.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Responsible for the technical direction, leadership, and training of staff.
  • Ensures project schedules, performance requirements and customer SLA are met.
  • Contributes to the development of organization's goals and objectives.
  • Regularly interacts with customer and/or functional group managers.
  • Will interact with senior management. Interactions normally involve matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company.

Skills/Attributes Required:

  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and business relationship skills are essential.

MIS EXECUTIVE

Reports to: MIS Manager

Job Purpose:

MIS Executive is responsible for the maintenance, support and reporting functions of the company's corporate information system.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Maintain in-house hardware and software.
  • Maintain customer premises equipment.
  • Configuration of equipment prior service provision.
  • Monthly customer report generation.
  • Configuration & Update Management.
  • Troubleshooting and problem management.
  • Design and document recommended solution.
  • Create user guides and provide end-user training.

Skills/Attributes Required:

  • A good technical knowledge in networking technology and network security required. (I.e. firewalls, IDS, IPS, VPN, TCPIP protocols).
  • Strong command line Linux skills.
  • Working knowledge of business reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team orientation a must.
  • 2-3 years previous experience in a MIS role.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Experience with hardware and software issues.

SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

Reports to: R&D Manager

Job Purpose:

The System Administrator (SA) is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems/servers hardware and software and related infrastructure. This individual & participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures & adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, and Partners.

This individual is accountable for the following systems: Linux servers; Winows Active Directory server; Routers, bandwidth shaper, and UTM systems; Responsibilities on these systems include SA engineering and & provisioning, operations and support, maintenance and research and development to ensure continual innovation.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Work closely with R&D Manager to ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
  • Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies.
  • Engineering of SA-related solutions for various project and operational needs.
  • Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
  • Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
  • Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.
  • Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment.

LEVEL 2 NETWORK SUPPORT ENGINEER

Reports to: Support Manager

Job Purpose:

The main role is to troubleshoot and provide technical assistance of our network security products to customers. Level 2 support engineers will need to install and configure the network security devices and help clients on how to troubleshoot and overcome any problems or difficulties within client network environment.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • A professional with an understanding of the area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.
  • Release and deploy network security equipment.
  • Configuration of equipment.
  • Provide client support and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Provide help, training and mentoring level one support engineers.

Skills/Attributes Required:

  • Good technical knowledge in networking technology and network security is required. (Firewalls, IDS, IPS, VPN, TCPIP protocols).
  • 3-4 years experience in the network/security field.
  • Strong command line Linux and networking skills.
  • Highly advanced in troubleshooting, strong analytical and problem solving skills.
